This is just the kind of restaurant we like – inexpensive, with good, tasty food. In the case of The Good Spoon Soupery, they use local, sustainably sourced ingredients to create a rotating selection of about a half a dozen soups, 2-3 sandwiches and sides. All are served with delicious bread from local Metropolitan Bakery and include vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options. It is small, but cozy- with only 3 tables for dining in. Much of the business is take-out (they also do many of the local farmer’s markets), and they have a freezer case full of soups for take home dinners. Chilled soups are available in the warm weather, making this a year round dining option. Closed Mondays.
Tobey says: Soup’s not my favorite, but this was very tasty- and it’s a good place to get something healthy before walking to Weckerly’s or Cake Life.
