Either the (1863) Metropolitan line between Baker Street and Farrington, which still has an original platform at Baker Street- but it’s now platform 5/6 on the Hammersmith line, or the (1868) Metropolitan District line (now Circle/District lines) between Westminster and South Kensington:

But, if you want to sit in a vintage horse or tube carriage, you’ll have to fight the kids for the privilege at the London Transport Museum:


Drink at a Victorian Pub. There are many around the city, but we chose the riverfront Trafalgar Tavern (1837) in Greenwich, which has a log fire and is beautifully decorated for the holidays:
