This park (in the museum district, across from the basic Ills) almost makes me wish that Tobey and Erick were little again because they would have loved it. It’s very small, but perfectly designed with a stream and pool for splashing and rocks and tres for climbing. It is hidden in Sister Cities Park(which also has a splash fountain Staying Cool – Philly’s Splash Fountains & Water Playground) and makes a perfect day out for the younger set when combined with a visit to the Academy of Natural Sciences – which is right across the street. They both open at 10:00. Just remember to bring a change of clothes!
