There’s a lot to love about this cute West Philadelphia eatery.

You can come for coffee and a pastry, including delicious dulce de leche alfajores (or the chocolate ones pictured above):

or lunch from a menu that includes a variety of empanadas, including meat and vegetarian varieties.

But one of the best parts of Philly’s restaurant scene is the collaborations, and Jezabel’s is a frequent participant. During covid, we got a take out box that included empanadas combined with Poi Dog chili peppah water:

Recently, we had an amazing sit down lunch combining the Argentinian flavors of Jezabel’s with the coastal Indian flavors of another Philly favorite, Aaji’s (of tomato lonza fame). Inventive menu that meshed deliciously. Batata chapati (roasted potato flatbread) with tomato lonsa. Masoora (lentil) curry with Argentinian cumin-garlic rice. Argentinian grilled shrimp with carrot Koshimbir salad. Panqueque with coconut-lime cream. And, a virgin mojito spritzer.
