This is a perfect city walk with great views and no traffic. I love walking. It’s the only form of exercise that I actually enjoy. We usually get plenty of walking in when we are in the city, but it is (obviously) city walking – cars, traffic lights, lots of people. It’s nice to find a place to get away from that and the Ben Franklin Bridge is a fun walk. Most people don’t realize that it has a pedestrian walkway above traffic level. Opened in 1926 (with Art Deco architectural details), a round trip walk is almost 3 miles – with views of the Camden and Philadelphia waterfronts and Philadelphia skyline.
Tobey says: Great place to take pictures and fun on a nice day.
